Our lovely student union building.

Sometimes things don’t roll your way. That was true of today's shoot, which was supposed to be a feature on the reconstruction of our student union building. The first problem was the fact that the workers would not let me in to the construction site. Thus, I ended up wandering around the building looking for things to shoot. I ended up spotting these to dudes who were cutting siding. I bolted up the 70-200 to a 1.4 converter and began shooting. Since I knew there would be no way to get their names, I elected to go for a shot that featured most of the building and minimized the importance of workers. As I was doing this, a plane flew overhead, en-route to land at the Pullman airport. So I threw that in the shot as well. Anyway, the other guy shooting the assignment, Harvey, got inside the site, and took way better pictures than I did, so this one did not even get submitted. Harvey's work can be seen here: http://www.dailyevergreen.com/story/20513
